ColioCo Doodles is a family business of Goldendoodle breeders that focus on producing multigenerational standard sized Goldendoodle pups that should grow to be 40-65 pounds on average. We have been breeding standard Goldendoodles for 11 years. We were rated #4 Goldendoodle Breeder in Alberta for 2022 by dogsoul.net & dog-breeds-expert.com. WE DO NOT BREED MINI DOODLES. With our puppy parents’ wonderful dispositions, genetics would suggest they will be the same. We have never had a complaint in 11 years. Our
pups are raised in a loving, nurturing, socially &
developmentally enriching home. They're our
babies and are treated with love & affection. The
pups are socialized with the our other 4-7 Goldendoodles (depends if they’re all here or on vacation down south)
in our home and are handled, cuddled & played
with by family members regularly and a select few friends. We take our puppy health seriously. We are not able to accommodate the puppies being touched & held by others, as they could unknowingly pass an illness on to the puppies. My first priority is the health & safety of the puppies. Puppies are
provided with developmentally stimulating &
enriching toys & play stations that are frequently
rotated to keep puppies cognitively stimulated.
We follow the ‘Badass Breeder’ program.
We have been breeding Goldendoodles for 11 years
and have developed a strong female bloodline.
We have never had a client inform us of a genetic illness in their Goldendoodle. These puppies come with genetic health guarantees & puppy/dog return policies.
Our adult Goldendoodles are first and foremost a part of our family. They are very pampered indoor dogs. They are allowed on the furniture and sleep in our beds. They are loved like our children and we spare no expense on them. Our dogs are our family for life and will never be rehomed.
Goldendoodles are loving & affectionate dogs. They are very friendly, social and wonderful with children, making for great family pets. They love to snuggle on the couch or in bed but also can be active and require daily exercise. Goldendoodles are not as active as labradoodles or aussiedoodles. Their disposition is quite relaxed once they have calmed from the puppy phase. Goldendoodles are very intelligent. They can be trained as service and hunting dogs. Most Goldendoodles have low to non shedding coats (our girls don’t shed). Many Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic. They do require regular brushing and grooming as a part of their routine care. Goldendoodles are quirky and have very human personalities and characteristics. It’s amazing having a Goldendoodle!

We are very popular & active on Social Media. Between doodle groups, our groups & pages & our other Social Media we have approximately 20,000 followers across North America. We do sell to both Canadians & Americans. Typically we hold 2 spots per litter for Americans. It is not uncommon for us to have a 1-2 year waitlist. Fortunately, the guardian pups that we added to our pack have passed their health testing and are now at breeding age; so we will be having more litters a year to keep wait times down. We have 2 litters anticipated for earlier in the new year with availability on their waitlists!
We follow the Badass Breeder program for all over healthy & well rounded pups.
While it is impossible to have a completely hypoallergenic dog, we can tell you that our multigenerational Goldendoodle adults and pups are as close as can be. Many of our clients have purchased our pups for our hypoallergenic qualities. Not all doodles are created the same in this category. We have clients who are anaphylactic to dog hair, dander or saliva. These clients have never had a single allergic reaction to our dogs until present. Before I will take a reservation fee from a client with an allergy history I have them visit our home for an hour appointment with the mother of the intended litter and a puppy of hers if available. They bring necessary allergy medication and/or epipen. During this hour they will pet, hug, rub their face in her fur and have her lick them to see if there is any sign of a reaction. At present we have yet to have a single client have an allergic reaction to one of our dogs or pups. We also offer a 7 day trial when they take their puppy home to watch for allergic reactions. In the event of an allergic reaction in the first 7 days we will return the puppy and issue a full refund. At this time we have never had a puppy returned for any reason, let alone an allergic reaction.
Also of note, is that our dogs are genetically proven not to shed
We are proud to say that we ranked #4 best Goldendoodle Breeder in Alberta for 2022 by dogsoul.net!
We are anticipating two winter litters for both Luna (black) & Dahlia (cream). They are being bred with a health tested parti (spotted) standard poodle stud. Parti Goldendoodles are not common and very hard to come by. Your pup will stand out in a crowd & be unique. There will be a mix of parti & solid pups. Puppy selection is based on the order your nonrefundable reservation fee is received. We have 5 reservations on Luna’s list already. The lists can fill fast.
If you are interested in Interviewing for our wait list, please contact us by phone or text at 587-572-9164. Alternatively you can contact us via email using the link on the page.

A reservation fee is required to reserve your place on the wait list. A reservation fee will not be accepted until you have interviewed & have reviewed a copy of the sales contract to ensure that we are a good fit and have the same vision for the future of your potential puppy.
Reservation fees are non refundable unless we do not have enough puppies available.
Puppy selection is done in order that reservation fees are received. Puppy selection does not take place in person. Selection is done through pictures, videos & FaceTime. You will select your puppy at 7/8 weeks. You will receive puppy updates and videos leading up to selection. You can also follow the litter daily on our social media.
Our puppies go to their forever families starting week 9 for families with adult children. Week 10 pups go home to families with kids (you will thank me). Not all pups go home on the same day. We do a 1-2 pup/day go home to stagger it out. Otherwise I find my moms get depressed.
At ColioCo Doodles we take Parvovirus very seriously. We are very firm on restrictions and precautions. There will be no visitation of puppies. You will meet your puppy on pickup day at approximately 9-10 weeks. We will follow the appropriate Parvovirus precautions at your pick up appointment. Parvovirus is a very serious & deadly disease that a visitor could easily track into our home and infect our puppies. To be blunt, if this happened, all of the puppies would die a horrible and suffering death. Parvovirus lives in the dirt on the ground. You would have no way of knowing that you were in contact with it. It’s my job to keep my puppies safe.
We are very active in social media with multiple daily posts to follow your puppy. As well, you will receive a minimum of one personal puppy update weekly. We are also available to FaceTime with your puppy weekly by appointment
Puppies are sold with a two year Genetic Health Guarantee.
Our adult dogs are DNA tested to rule out potential genetic defects or illnesses that could be passed to our pups and come with a clear DNA pannel screen.
They are also OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) Certified for good hips & elbows. Their X-rays have been scrutinized by the OFA and have positive rankings. This testing helps to ensure your pup should be as healthy as possible
Puppies are sold on a Strict Non-Breeding Contract. Puppies will NOT be sold with breeding rights.
Puppies are also sold on a Strict Spay-Neuter Contract. Pups are required to be spayed/neutered by 18 months of age. The contract is Strictly enforced. If either is a problem for you, we are not a good fit and our puppies are not for you.
Our breeding dogs have sound Genetic/DNA testing. They also score well on their Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) testing.
I got to go witness beautiful puppies births last night 🌙. It was so neat. Their momma eagerly awaiting their arrival was so magical. 😍 8 perfect little souls coming to earth to start the adventure. I was moved and felt so profoundly honored to support the little family.
The ease of her births was beautiful. She seemed focused and went inside to a place of knowing and gained her strength from there each time and came back to earth in time to quickly catch her own young and clean the birthing from them. Between births she would check on each pup cleaning them repeatedly, stimulating their systems reminding, comforting and caring instinctively. She was motherhood brilliance. Her mom, who has also given birth that morning by c-section, was there and also her grandmother. 4 generations of dogs sharing and supporting each other. 3 generations of mommas all together. I could not have imagined a more beautiful scene.
The young momma birthing her pups so loved and cared for.
She was so proud and happy. Ready and excited for puppies to care for and nurture.
Shannon was so caring and attentive. Assisting each pup to take that first breath with ease. Clearing the tiny system for new input from the world. She used surgical precision to unbind the pup from momma. With wisdom and skill she would look over the pup, declare the gender and start to carefully and vigorously rub its whole body with a towel. Tiny puppy sounds and more life would come into their bodies, as they heard the grand wake up call to life. Experiencing the new found freedom of movement outside the wet crowded puppy pile they had just come from. Once life had fully come into that tiny body Shannon would give the pup over to momma for inspection and further clean up. Momma cherished the new pup and went on to adjust and await, once again clearing the path for life anew. The puppy pile grew and grew. Each new life adding to the family. Momma curled her fore paw back towards the pups, cuddling them in, securing her place as momma, nurture and protector as generations before her.
We have 2 litters anticipated for approximately December & March (give or take a month on either side). Luna (black) & Dahlia (cream) will be bred to Oliver the parti poodle. See pictures above. We will have both solid colour pups & parti (spotted) pups. Parti are very hard to come by and not at all common Goldendoodle colours. If you are interested in a pup, contact us to interview.
